Bowhunting Argentina
When considering a bowhunt in South America, Argentina is the leading country in every respect. Most of the species available for hunting were introduced by the early explorers and settlers. The Red deer found here are smaller than what is available in New Zealand for example but that is because they are free-range. Very nice stags in the 12 to 14 point configuration are available to bowhunt here. Another species that Argentina is well known for bowhunting is the Indian Water buffalo. Their horns are different than the Asiatic Water buffalo in that they curve up almost immediately and do not grow laterally. Argentina is also famous for its bird shooting and this activity can be combined with Big game bowhunting.
