Bowhunting Red Deer in Argentina
Found in New Zealand, Australia, Argentina and Chile, these natives of Western Europe are a big draw for hunters since the price is more reasonable than in Austria, Hungary or Bulgaria. The Argentine Red stags are truly free range hunting in area similar to the North American Elk. Bowhunting is best done during the rut, which lasts from mid march to end of April. Although not as big a trophy quality as NZ stags, they are a bit less expensive and in good numbers. Allow for at least 5 days for these stags. This should give you one good bowhunting shot opportunity per day at under 40 yards.
