Bowhunting Wild Boar in Argentina
The introduction of wild boar in Argentina was in the late 1900's. These adaptable hogs are found all through Europe, South America, South Pacific, although the true European boar have more of a bristle hair and longer snouts. In Argentina bowhunting for wild boar is yearound in most provinces. For the most part the animals are taken by stalking in Argentina but some baiting is done as well as the use of hounds. As with anywhere they are found, a wild hog hunt is a great add on to a bowhunt for other big game.
