Bowhunting Chamois

Imported into New Zealand from Europe in the early 1800’s. These little “mountain goats” live at very high altitude. An extremely difficult animal for the bowhunter, but worth every bit of the work!
A slightly different sub specie is available in Southern France, with somewhat smaller horns and more black in color. Bowhunting Chamois is very physical and bowhunters need to be prepared.
