Bowhunting Canada
Canada offers the modem day bowhunters some of the best options of hassle free bowhunting in the world. What would the bowhunting world be like without Canada? There would be no woodland caribou, Quebec / Lab Caribou, Mountain Caribou, or Central Canadian Ground Caribou in P&Y for starters. There wouldn't be any Canadian Moose obviously, nor would you have the opportunity to bowhunt polar bear. Muskok permits are nearly impossible for residents of Alaska to get, but they are over the counter in the far reaches of the NWT's.
Of course, we wouldn't have any stone sheep either, and some of the best Dall Sheep hunting wouldn't be available. While you can bowhunt black bear in the lower 48 and in Alaska, some of the best bear bowhunting in the world is in Canada, and it runs from Newfoundland to British Columbia. While the Grizzly hunting is under attack from the anti's in BC, there is truly a great bowhunting opportunity for these tremendous animals throughout BC, the Yukon, and portions of the NWT. Canada also has fabulous goat hunting as well as Mt. Lion, and we can't forget the Whitetails in Saskatchewan, and Alberta, nor the fabulous Mule Deer bowhunting throughout the Western Canadian provinces.
Canada provides bowhunters throughout North America an opportunity to choose among many species what you wish to pursue, and simply book the bowhunt and go do it. The drawing pressures of the lower 48 and certain hunts in Alaska are nonexistent in Canada, and the wilderness country available to you and I is almost incomprehensible.
